At Swipe Events, the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of our community are our highest priorities.
Our events are built to make meeting new people fun, respectful, and secure — whether you’re finding a match, a friend, or simply enjoying a social night out.
These guidelines explain how our events operate, what we expect from attendees, and how we protect everyone involved.
By using the Swipe Events app or attending an event, you agree to follow these standards.

Swipe Events connects real singles through real experiences — not endless swiping.
We combine structured mini-dates with licensed venues to create a relaxed, respectful, and genuine environment.
Everyone deserves to feel comfortable, safe, and included. These guidelines ensure that happens.
👤 Who Can Join
To protect our community and maintain fairness:
You must be 18 years or older to create an account, purchase tickets, or attend events.
You must be honest about your age and fall within the event’s published age range.
You must book the correct gender ticket for your identity — this ensures balanced, fair pairings.
Each person may only have one active account.
Married, partnered, or non-single individuals may not participate — Swipe Events is for singles only.
Accounts belonging to minors or falsified identities will be terminated immediately.
📱 Your Profile
Swipe Events relies on honesty and authenticity.
To keep our platform genuine:
Use your real first name or nickname — no fake, misleading, or offensive names.
Upload recent, genuine photos of yourself (no group shots, celebrities, AI images, or heavy filters).
Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.
Fake, deceptive, or offensive profiles may be removed without refund.
🎫 Booking Events
Our events depend on accurate bookings to maintain balance and fairness.
When booking:
Select the correct gender and age group for your event.
Tickets are non-transferable between gender or age categories without prior approval.
Providing false information may result in cancellation or removal without refund.
Honesty ensures everyone enjoys a fair, comfortable experience.
🍸 At the Event
All Swipe Events take place in licensed, staffed venues such as bars, lounges, and restaurants.
To ensure everyone has a great night:
Dress appropriately — venues may refuse entry to those who don’t meet dress standards.
Arrive on time to be included in all rounds.
Follow venue and staff instructions at all times, including Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) rules.
Do not arrive intoxicated or under the influence of illegal substances.
Our app provides all instructions for each 8-minute date — simply follow along and enjoy yourself.
🤝 Respect & Behaviour
Our golden rule: Treat others how you’d like to be treated.
At every event and in the app:
Be kind, courteous, and considerate.
No touching without clear, mutual consent — ever.
No harassment, unwanted advances, or offensive language.
Do not ask for personal numbers or social media during events — matches are made through the app only.
Respect personal space and boundaries.
Offensive, discriminatory, or threatening behaviour will result in removal and permanent bans.
We enforce a One-Strike Policy: serious misconduct or unsafe behaviour leads to immediate removal without refund.
🚫 Prohibited Conduct
To keep Swipe Events safe and enjoyable for all, the following are strictly prohibited:
Fake or misleading profiles.
Married, partnered, or non-single participants.
Providing false age, gender, or identity details.
Selling products, promoting services, or distributing business materials.
Scams, solicitation, or prostitution of any kind.
Filming, recording, or photographing others without consent.
Hate speech, harassment, or discrimination.
Excessive intoxication or aggressive behaviour.
Anyone engaging in prohibited conduct may be permanently banned, and their phone number blocked from future registration.
🛡️ Safety & Reporting
Swipe Events events are hosted in licensed public venues with professional staff and security.
If you feel unsafe at any time:
Notify venue staff or security immediately.
Use the Report button in the app to flag inappropriate behaviour.

All reports are taken seriously and reviewed promptly. Repeat or serious offenders are permanently banned.
💬 Matches & Communication
Only mutual selections (“Match” or “Friend”) unlock chat after the event.
Do not contact attendees outside the app.
Messaging must remain respectful — harassment, spam, or offensive content will result in suspension or banning.
Temporary event DMs (like “I’m at the bar”) are deleted automatically after each event.
🔒 Data Privacy & Security
Your privacy is protected at every step.
All account and chat data is stored securely in Google Firebase Cloud, encrypted in transit and at rest.
Only mutual matches can communicate; no data is shared with third parties.
You can delete your account anytime — personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.
Swipe Events does not use cookies, analytics pixels, or hidden trackers.
