Who We Are
Swipe Events (also known as the Swipe Events App) is a registered Australian dating company that helps singles connect through real-life speed dating events, powered by technology.
Unlike traditional dating apps filled with endless swiping, or old-fashioned speed dating with paper scorecards, Swipe Events combines the best of both worlds:

How Swipe Events Works
Create an Account
Log in at swipeevents.app/sign-in using your phone number.
A 4-digit verification code (via Twilio SMS) confirms your account.
New users provide their first name/nickname, date of birth, gender, city, and 2+ profile photos (up to 6 allowed).
Book Your Event
Browse events in your city (only cities, not suburbs, to ensure events fill).
Select your ticket and pay securely via Stripe or PayPal (email required for receipts & ticket delivery).
No subscriptions, no hidden fees — just book for the event you want.
Turn Up
Events are hosted in licensed bars/nightclubs with professional venue staff.
On arrival, open the app and press “I’m Here” to check in.
The app pairs you automatically with your first date.
Enjoy the Event
Each date lasts around 8 minutes.
Profiles (name + 2–6 photos + city) appear on your screen.
If you can’t find your date, in-app DMs let you message “I’m at the bar” (temporary chat, deleted after the event).
Once you find them, click “I found them” and enjoy your mini-date.
Choose Match, Friend, or Pass
After each date (or at the end of the night), select whether you’d like to match.
Mutual matches unlock chat in the app after the event.
After the Event
Access your matches via the Matches Page.
Chats are stored securely in Firebase (between your two UserIDs).
You can remove/block matches, which prevents pairing at future events.
Safety & Community
We are committed to transparency and safety:
Age Restriction — Strictly 18+. No exceptions.
Licensed Venues — All events are in bars/clubs with professional staff & security.
Balanced Ratios — Tickets are sold in gender- and age-specific groups to ensure fairness.
One-Strike Policy — Harassment, unsafe behavior, or misconduct may result in permanent bans.
Reporting — Attendees can report inappropriate behavior via the app.
Privacy-First — No cookies, no tracking pixels, no retargeting. We never sell or rent your personal data.
Account Deletion — You can delete your account anytime via the app. All personal data is removed within 30 days (except limited blocks for banned users).

Data Security: Encrypted at rest and in transit.
Payments: Stripe & PayPal — we do not store full card details.
No Cookies/Trackers: We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any hidden tracking scripts.
