Swipe Events Refund & Ticket Transfer Policy

At Swipe Events, we aim to deliver safe, balanced, and enjoyable events for all participants. Because our events depend on carefully managed gender and age ratios, all ticket purchases are subject to the following Refund & Ticket Transfer Policy.
1. Non-Refundable Tickets
All tickets purchased for Swipe Events are non-refundable, except where required by Australian consumer law.
By purchasing a ticket, you reserve a place in a balanced event, which prevents us from reselling that ticket to others of the same gender and age group.
This ensures we maintain equal ratios, manage venue capacity, and deliver the best possible experience.
2. Ticket Transfer Options
a) One-Time Transfer with Notice
If you provide at least 7 days’ notice before your booked event, you may transfer your ticket to another scheduled event in the same city and age group.
b) Transfer to Another Guest
You may give or sell your ticket to another person, provided they:
Meet the required age range for the event.
Match the gender requirement for that ticket type (to preserve ratios).
Please notify us of the transfer by email so we can update attendee records.
c) Ticket Credits (“Allow Transfers” Option)
If you selected the Allow Transfers option when booking, you may cancel before your event starts and receive ticket credit.
Ticket credits are stored on your Swipe Events profile and automatically applied to your next booking.
Ticket credits cannot be exchanged for cash refunds.
3. How to Request a Transfer
To request a transfer, please email us at hello@swipeevents.app with:
Your full name and booking reference.
The original event date and location.
The event you wish to transfer to (if requesting a rebooking).
Please note:
Requests must be made by email only (not through social media or DMs).
Transfers are subject to event availability and confirmation by our team.
4. Event Cancellations by Swipe Events
In the unlikely event that Swipe Events must cancel or reschedule an event, we will notify you promptly.
You will be offered:
A transfer to another event, or
A refund if required under Australian consumer law.
5. Why We Do Not Offer Refunds
Our no-refund policy is designed to protect event quality:
Balanced Ratios: Ticket sales lock in the gender/age balance. Cancellations create gaps that are difficult to fill at the last minute.
Venue Capacity: Events often sell out, and cancellations prevent others from attending.
High Standards: Our attendees expect a well-organised night with many dates. Last-minute dropouts disrupt this experience.
By maintaining this policy, we keep ticket prices reasonable and event standards high.
6. Booking Guidelines
Before booking, please ensure that you:
Are 18 years or older.
Meet the age and gender requirements for the selected event.
Are available on the date and time of the event.
Add the event to your calendar immediately to avoid scheduling conflicts.

By purchasing a ticket to a Swipe Events function, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund & Ticket Transfer Policy.
This agreement helps us maintain fairness, event quality, and balanced ratios while providing flexible transfer options.
